Adult Companion Services
How Can We Help
Companion services cover services that help a person work toward a therapeutic or community integration goal in their support plan. This includes, but is not limited to:
Attend a movie with the person to practice coping skills to manage their social anxiety
Play a board game with the person to enhance their fine motor skills
Assist or supervise the person with household tasks, like meal preparation or shopping.
Go with the person to a community event to reduce their social isolation
Provide verbal instructions or cues to the person to help them complete a task
Please notify us if you are on Medical Assistance programs offered by the County, including Elderly Waiver or the Alternative Care Waiver.

Alleviating Loneliness and Isolation
Non-Medical Adult Companion Services are available to individuals who are physically capable of overseeing their physical and personal care but, who want quality companionship in their lives. Our caregivers will establish connections to help them stay active, social and motivated. Our mission is to help seniors maintain a sense of normalcy. Companion care can provide emotional support and alleviate loneliness.
